I first realized my musical ability when I was 16 and picked up my dad's old Yamaha acoustic
guitar and actually tried to figure out how it worked instead of just beating around on it.
After that I couldn't put it down.
I moved from my home in Short Creek, Kentucky to Nashville two weeks after my high school graduation in 1999 and began to pay my dues. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Ken and Barbie Isham before I made the move to Nashville. They took me under their wing and showed me the ropes, chains, and shackles of the music business. Shortly after I arrived in Nashville, we started working on my demo project. I picked out my five favorite songs from the Isham's collection and we recorded them in the Isham's studio. I have re-cut the vocals one time since. It's now two years since I first moved to Nashville, and I am back home in Short Creek. I enjoy being home. I work at Green's Implement in Leitchfield, and head down once a week to to the Isham's recording studio in Nashville. We are close to publishing my first album.
